Scott Gordon is an
accomplished Entrepreneur, Marketing and Operations Professional, and Investor. Most recently he has worked on multiple
start-up ventures. Additionally, through
Gordon Consulting, he has provided brand management and business integration consulting
services across a diverse range of business segments. He has worked with
clients in manufacturing, distribution, advertising, media, sporting goods and
services, licensed products, and durable goods. Prior to
establishing Gordon Consulting in 2002, Gordon was an owner and partner in Idea
Sharks, an LLC specializing in business development and the formation of start-up
entities. Under this umbrella he
contributed to the formation of many successful entities including Marquis Jet,
Varsity Entertainment, Tour GCX Partners, and Superstar EXP.
Gordon started his career in the compliance division of
AIG Insurance and as a credit analyst at Republic National Bank. After a few entrepreneurial ventures, he
began his distinguished career in sports marketing and operations at the
National Media Group. He then joined Alphabet
City, a production and distribution company specializing in sports compilation cds and the creation of licensed specialty products. Alphabet City had licensing agreements with
the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and NCAA and released over 50 cds before being acquired
SFX Entertainment in 1998. Here Gordon
also participated in the creation of the Emmy Award winning "I Love This
Game" marketing campaign for the NBA, as well as, national campaigns for
Coca-Cola, Foot Locker and Sprite. While
with SFX, he helped conceive of and build eSuperstars, a first of its kind
sports and entertainment dream fulfillment company. eSuperstars was subsequently spun out of SFX
and merged with UltimateBid to form Ultimate, Inc.
Gordon was awarded a BS in Strategic Planning and Business
Administration from Boston University in 1993.
